The Deluxe Queen Room was a decent size, but it definitely needed some TLC. The bed was pretty comfy, but there were some maintenance issues, like the non-operable fireplace and a small fridge just sitting on the floor. Honestly, it felt a bit dated. On the upside, the decor was charming, and I appreciated the room's unique vibe. Just wish it had a little more spark to it, you know?

Charleston's culinary scene is a gem, with scrumptious breakfast offerings that kickstart your day and free snacks available round-the-clock. Plus, the charming garden area is perfect for unwinding after all the eating and exploring!
The building could use a little refresh, but honestly, it didn't take away from our super comfy stay. The ice access after hours was missed—a small hiccup in an otherwise great time.

Charming stay with delightful breakfast offerings
I had a wonderful time here, the quaint décor and inviting common spaces made my stay feel like a home away from home. The breakfast each morning was exceptional, featuring made-to-order eggs and fresh pastries that really set the tone for the day. The afternoon tea with snacks was a lovely touch, allowing for social moments with other guests. However, I did notice that the lack of staff presence after hours made security feel a little uncertain.

Perfect for history lovers
The location was excellent! Just steps away from everything. Plus, the quirky snacks and coffee available throughout the day were a nice touch. I could fuel up before my daily excursions. My favorite part was when the staff went out of their way to. It, like family almost.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but worth it for the experience I got.

We had a wonderful time exploring Charleston, and the location was perfect for walking to all the attractions. The breakfast spread was delightful each morning and truly made a difference! The antique decor provided a charming atmosphere that delighted all of us, especially our adult children.
In my wife’s opinion, a wider variety of breakfast options would enhance the experience for families. Our kids were hoping for something more hearty each morning.
